We were given a blank canvas and tasked with designing a stunningly gorgeous space. We approached the design similar to the way the client designs their stellar sushi: sophisticated and modern. Material selections include soft leather, warm wood tones and natural stone to create a feeling of tranquility and high fashion.

We were able to keep an open feel to the space by erecting a metal screen wall between the bar and the dining room, and by conceptualizing a private sake tasting room and vault comtaining floating sake bottles. A custom wall-covering featuring a giant Buddha sits behind the sushi line, making it the focal point of the design.
